International Women’s Day, 8th March CHASE Feminist Network Meet Up – Sussex Campus

We invite you to join us to celebrate International Women’s Day – all welcome!
The CHASE Feminist Network was set up to create spaces of resistance in what continues to be a patriarchal higher education sector, with ongoing and intersectional discrimination happening at all levels. We are meeting up in Sussex Students’ Union, Bar/Café for a chat and welcome before heading onto the events on campus.
UCU student members are taking the lead in organising an exciting line-up of events to mark International Women’s Day on campus, next Friday 8 March. This day of action is part of the joint unions’ Gender Pay Gap Campaign at Sussex. 1pm – 4pm Sussex students and staff are doing a series of short talks by and discussions with PhD students, poetry readings, and more. https://www.facebook.com/events/2303099959938761/
