It’s here, it’s happening, the Devil’s Dyke Pleasure Garden 2019! 🌱👩🏻🌾🌞🍄🌻🧫
25th October, Brighton
Facebook Invite: https://www.facebook.com/events/709236032853219/
We are hosting an all-day (into-the-night) queer feminist arts extravaganza.
For the past two years we’ve been putting on Devil’s Dyke Nights at venues across Brighton, landing in the wonderful ONCA, Rose Hill, and Fabrica before coming to settle in our current home at the wonderful Lighthouse. Every visual artist, every musician, every poet on every lineup we’ve had has made those few hours every couple of months into something truly unforgettable.
The festival will feature more poetry, performance and art, but we’re stretching our wings even further this autumn for a day filled with writing classes, movement exercises, live discussions… and maybe some dancing.
Our goal is to create and be in this space mindfully and communally, bringing something to Brighton that has been missing. Come create it with us.
More info coming very soon, this is just the beginning, but doors 10.30am for an 11am start 🍁📖🤹🏻♀⛱🧶🎢

We hope to have the event BSL interpreted – if you know anyone who is trained as a BSL interpreter and would be interested in doing this at our event, please get in touch with us at our email address (devilsdykenetwork@gmail.com).
To check out the work of our previous performers, or find out more about the network, visit www.devilsdykenetwork.org
People are all messy and imperfect and we try to hold a non-judgmental space, but also bear in mind we don’t accept racist, transphobic, homophobic, misogynist, or disablist behaviour! Let’s keep a nurturing space for each other 🙂 – those who persist in behaviour which disrupts that will be asked to leave.
This event is supported by the CHASE Doctoral Training Partnership and Lighthouse Brighton.
