Feminist Approaches to Computational Technology: Read, Write, Code

IDOW-Gear-1-Buchla

Hi All,

FACT///.network is delighted to announce that our proposal for ‘Feminist Approaches to Computational Technology: Read, Write, Code’ has been approved by the CHASE Cohort Development Fund. In our application, we proposed a cross disciplinary programme of events to include a one-day symposium with invited speakers, including PhD students from the CHASE network, followed by a programme of monthly meet ups for feminist reading-writing-coding practices.

This programme will take place across the academic year 2019/20 and we look forward to seeing some of you at the events and meet-ups. More details to follow.

The first CHASE funded network event, “Mapping Feminist Coding Practices” is planned for Wednesday 20th November – more details will follow shortly!

Happy September 🙂

Best wishes,

Sharon, Cécile & FACT///.
